The vessel equipped with all that is necessary for lifting the Russian helicopter Mi-8 from the bottom of the Barents Sea will arrive in Longiyr approximately on Wednesday, November 1, said the chief of staff of the governor and the chief of police of Svalbard Ule Jacob Malmo.
"We have signed the contract with the vessel which goes from Norway, for lifting of the helicopter. We believe that this vessel will come on Wednesday", - Malmo told at the briefing on Sunday.

According to him, further search operation will require help of the Russian divers. "At present the Norwegian submersible is at the bottom of the sea to get acquainted with helicopter situation", - he emphasized, adding that search work will be carried out ashore at the same time.

In turn the governor of Svalbard Kjerstin Askholt has noted that now a priority of search operation is searching of crew members. "Now search operation and investigation of incident, however a priority of search operation - in search of crew members is in parallel conducted", - Askholt told. The governor has noted that the headquarters of search works from the moment of finding of the helicopter will be placed in the mayor's office of Svalbard.

The head of task force of Emercom of Russia on the place of events Evgeny Saidov TASS has reported in turn that the Russian underwater remotely piloted vehicles will also be connected to a research of a zone of the crash of the Mi-8 helicopter in the next few hours.
