On 27 May Sevmormash launched the Tiksi two-hull sea-river tanker with deadweight of 2786 t. The tanker is designed for the delivery of goods to the Yakutia setlements of the Arctic coast.
The vessel (former Palflot-1, Type R77, Lenaneft) is being modernized by the TRANS-Service Maritime Agency.  
The purpose of re-equipment is installing the tank top structures in the cargo area to provide compliance with Rule 21 of MARPOL 73/78 (the original vessel had no the second bottom) and organizing in the middle part two more cargo tanks used also as settling ones, instead of the existing dry compartment.
