"The head ship ("Uragan") will be delivered in 2018. As we most captiously treat the head ships, they should pass a big cycle of tests, but we are sure that in 2018 Pella (shipbuilding plant - a comment by TASS) will deliver this ship for it to join the fleet. And "Tajfun" too", he said.

Bursuk specified that all 18 ships of this kind will be constructed, and six of them since 2018 will be under construction in the Far East.

According to the CEO of "Almaz" Alexander Shlyakhtenko, the ships of the project 22800 have "the perfect hydrodynamic scheme". Besides, the following ships of Karakurta series will have strengthened antiaircraft protection.

"The fleet set the task to sharply improve seaworthiness of the ship, it will be constantly improved. By the following ships additional tasks will be solved. We hope that this further development of a korvetny series of Russia", - Shlyakhtenko told.
