For this cargo and passenger ship which is supposed to ensure the communication between Comoro Islands, Paramushir and Kamchatka, the sum of 920 million rubles is financed. The Russian Federal Marine and River Transport Agency has announced a tender.
According to Sakh.com, the new ship will be capable to carry 34 passengers. The crew capacity will be 18 in number. The ship will be capable to transport general cargoes as well as containers, including refrigerated ones. Its length will be 75 m, beam 13.4 m, speed 12 knots, deadweight 1100 t.
The ship is designed and constructed to the following RS class: KM Ice2 АUT3 Passenger ship. The ship will fly the flag of the Russian Federation.
The ship is scheduled to be constructed by the end of 2019 year.
