Nobel Shipyard to Construct Eight Type RSD 79 Cargo Ships Till 2025

The Yaroslavl Region Governor visited the Nobel Shipyard to be informed on plans to construct the type RSD 79 ships.

A new environmentally friendly ship is to be constructed till 31 October 2019. The ship will operate on Baikal and moor at the places where the fleet is mostly concentrated.

Zelenodolsk Type A217-1 Motor Vessels Pass First Sea Trials

According to press-office of Zelenodolsk Gorky Plant, two type A217-1 ice class ships constructed by the yard have successfully passed the first sea trials. The trials were carried out off Arkhangelsk from 23 to 24 January.

Ministry of Industry and Trade drafted amendments to the Merchant Marine Code to practically ban purchasing any ships constructed at foreign shipyards.

Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association to Deliver Ship to Turkmenistan

Irrespectively of Sanctions  Alexei Zhidakov, the ROSSHELF Director General, reported to Alexander Zhilkin, the Astrakhan Region Governor, that the Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (part of the Caspian Energy Group) will deliver floating crane Palwan with the cost of USD 30M to Turkmenistan by the end of March 2018. The construction was suspended for two years because of USA sanctions against Russia.
