At the Onega ship-building and ship-repair plant a new self-propelled barge was launched
Rosmorport reports that on September 22, 2017 in Petrozavodsk at the Onega ship-building and ship-repair plant the ceremony of descent to water of the sludge removal self-propelled barge Trudovaya with a volume of hold of 600 m3 was held. The vessel is constructed by request of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport and intended for transportation of soil during dredging works.
"Comet" will receive special glazing
As the press service of ONPP "Technology" reports, a series of sea passenger ships on submerged wings of new generation "Comet-120M" will equip with hi-tech glazing from domestic polycarbonate the Obninsk NPP Tekhnologiya (enters into Rostec State corporation, RT-Himkompozit Holding). In total within the contract "Technology" will deliver to the customer sets for 12 motor ships.

TASS reports with reference to the message of the official site of the Kremlin, that Vladimir Putin charged the government together with Rosneft to handle an issue of ensuring requirement of the ship-building complex Zvezda with the large-format steel sheet produced in Russia. Hyundai Heavy Industries secures largest newbuild order in five years
Hyundai Heavy Industries has announced an $800 million contract for 10 very large ore carriers (VLOCs) for Polaris. The deal is Hyundai's largest order in half a decade and will help reverse a long-term trend of weak sales; it brings the firm's total for new orders for 2017 to $5.8 billion, about three times its total last year.

On significant date the staff of the museum was congratulated by the commander of BF vice admiral Alexander Nosatov. It expressed confidence that showrooms will be constantly replenished with the new exhibits reminding not only about historical events of last centuries, but also about modern construction and development of the oldest fleet of Russia. The museum BF Baltiysk was formed by the directive of General staff of Navy of September 25, 1957 with dislocation in the main naval base.
