Up-to-date tankers and gas carriers of the Arctic class with displacement up to 300,000 tons will be built based on shipbuilding complex “Zvezda” in Primorye. This complex is being built by the USC based on the same-name shipyard. Products will have been already released next year.
Alexey Lvov was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg “Marine Facade” (“Morskoy Fasad”), and Ivan Rovny – as the secretary.

JSC “Sevmash” is ready to sign an acceptance certificate of the lead nuclear ballistic missile submarine “Yury Dolgoruky”. It was planned to transfer the ship to the Customer – the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation – on the 29th of July, 2012. The strategic missile carrier of the fourth generation “Yury Dolgoruky” is designed by FSUE “Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering “Rubin”. Length – 170 m. Breadth – 13.5 m, maximum depth of submergence – 450 m, underwater speed – 29 knots.

JSC “Shipyard named after October Revolution” laid the keel of the buoyage vessel of 3050.1 project of the Russian River Register class “Р 1.2 (ice20)” for FBI “Amur State Basin Authority of the Water Ways and Shipping” (Khabarovsk). A characteristic feature of the vessels of 3050.1 project is that they are equipped with two cranes –manipulator cocks in the fore and aft.

Vyborg Shipyard starts building a new diesel-powered open sea icebreaker. The vessel will be able to overcome ice up to 1.5 meters. The main purpose is autonomous escort of heavy-tonnage vessels, towing, fire fighting on vessels, barges and floating platforms, supporting vessels in distress, and cargo carriage. The delivery term of two vessels of the series is May and October, 2015.

LLC “Baltic Shipyard – Shipbuilding” started building a hull of the first of two assault helicopter ships Mistral, laid a hull of the ship named “Vladivostok”. In May, 2013, it is expected to start cutting metal for the second helicopter carrier, which will be named “Sevastopol”.

JSC “Moscow Shipyard” revives building legendary high-speed air-cushioned passenger crafts of “Luch” project for intercity and interregional transport. Class of the Russian River Register: “*РА”, length – 23.31 m, draft – 0.6 m, speed – 45 km/h, and endurance – 320 km.
