The Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared a development program draft of the Russian shipbuilding industry, which will require investments of 1.3 trln. RUR. The funds will be used for training personnel, technical re-equipping shipyards, and increasing labor productivity in the industry. In this case, naval shipbuilding should get more money than the commercial one. 
Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov has signed an order, according to which Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy and FSUE “Saint-Petersburg State University of Water Communications” will be reorganized by joining the Academy to the University.

“Nizhny Novgorod Shipyard” has commissioned the first for FSUE “RosMorPort” shallow-draft icebreaking tug “Dobrynya” of TG04M project four months before the planned period.
The Customer is a Rostov branch of FSUE “RosMorPort”. Project TG04M is designed by “Marine Engineering Bureau”. The vessel project is designed to the class + О 2.0 (ice 30) А of the Russian River Register, and the ice category was knowingly taken higher than the Russian River Register Regulations for the vessels of О 2.0 class recommend.

The Ministry of Defense is planning to buy 96 auxiliary vessels by 2020, said Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Army General Dmitry Bulgakov.

Large landing ship “Mitrofan Moskalenko” of the Russian Northern Flee that has stood y ready for use since 2002, will be completely decommissioned and sent to scrap. The ship will go under the hammer at an auction. According to forecasts, the price of the large landing ship will not exceed $2.5 mln.

Moscow Shipyard HAS signed a contract with Volgo-Baltic State Basin Control Agency of Waterways and Shipping to perform full repair works of towing motor ship “Aisberg”, of 1427 project for the Vytegorsk district of hydraulic works and shipping.

LLC “Baltisky Zavod – Sudostroyenie” will lay down a diesel-electric icebreaker of 22600 project with power of 25 MW for FSUE “RosMorPort”.
