The State Arms Program of Russia for 2011-2020 provides for construction of ten nuclear power submarines of 885 project “Yasen” with length of 119 m and deadweight of 13.8 thou.t. As it is expected, the first submarine of 885 project – “Severodvinsk” – will be delivered to the Russian Navy until the end of 2011.

Ukraine and Russia will sign two agreements governing the presence of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol. The first agreement regulates rules and order of presence of the fleet military men outside of their deployment, and the second - joint actions in dealing with natural disasters.

The Black Sea Fleet shall stop smuggling cargoes using exterritoriality of the military equipment, said the Head of the Crimean branch of the Ukrainian People's Party, Oleg Fomushkin. The land that is used by the Russian Fleet shall go through the inventory. If it is used for other purposes or leased out – it shall be withdrawn.

During the working meeting with the Prime-Minister, Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Igor Sechin, said that 3 of 13 contracts planned for the State defense order will be signed in the coming days. The Prime Minister required completing to sign all contracts before the end of the month.
