Vessels Aleksandr Sibiryakov, Inzhener Trubin, and Iogann Mahmastal will deliver goods for the floating nuclear power station.
The vessel carrying construction materials and equipment for this one-of-a-kind floating nuclear power station has departed for the Chukotka port Pevek. This was reported by the
press-office of Rosenergoatom.
"Cargo vessel
Aleksandr Sibiryakov will deliver almost 10 thousand tons of cargo including construction materials (sand, crushed stone, cement) and metal structures for the floating nuclear power station, as well as additional construction vehicles to support construction of hydraulic facilities and coastal infrastructure," the report states. The vessel is expected to arrive in Pevek in the first half of August.
The second and third vessels,
Inzhener Trubin and
Iogann Mahmastal, will depart from Arkhangelsk to Pevek on 5th and 25th August respectively.
