This Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin submitted an agreement with Syria to expand Russian Navy's facility for 49 years for consideration by the State Duma. This information was placed in the State Duma database.
"This agreement is valid for 49 years and will be prolonged for the following 25-year periods unless one of the parties notifies the other party of the intention to terminate this agreement in writing via diplomatic channels at least one year before expiration of the next period", said the document.
