Participants of a criminal case upon 20 persons died, whose death was a consequence of the fire at “Nerpa” nuclear submarine in November, 2008, were acquitted in Vladivostok by Pacific Fleet Military Court. The commander of the submarine Dmitry Lavrentyev had been charged with an abuse of office. Sailor Dmitry Grobov had been charged with involuntary manslaughter. It is expected that the people death was caused by life-threatening ethylene tetrachloride. It was injected on two thirds into fire control system instead of freon.
