Shipyard “Lotos” laid down a lead oil tanker of RST25 project for Moscow River Shipping Company. Vessels are being built according to River Register class M-SP 4.5 (ice 40) А ECO3. Vessels deadweight of which is 6610 t in a sea with high environmental standard are designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau. Tank volume is 6990 m3, operation speed – 10.5 knots.

The Committee for Economic Development said that own shipbuilding conception with a central shipyard on Kotlin island will soon appear in the northern capital. The conception of accommodation of the complex objects on the island will be developed by the end of the year. New capacities will be located on 300-hectare site in the south-western part of Kotlin island, while building operations will be started in 2014.

The Moscow City Duma made a decision to stop funding the Black Sea Fleet during adoption of the amendments to the capital budget for 2011. The responsible for the Program - Moscow-Sevastopol Fund – lost all 70.6 mln. RUR earlier allocated in the budget for 2011. The oldest shipyard of Tyumen is sold. A new owner is planning to destroy production buildings, and build up the territory with the buildings of civilian designation. In 2006 the enterprise was bought by State Concern “Integra”. Under the direction of the investor the shipyard was reequipped to produce oil service equipment. It was reported that in 2007–2008 more than 500 mln. RUR were spent to modernize the shipyard. Now the owner is getting rid of non-core assets.

The plans of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic in the Ukraine include supply of small and medium-sized vessels of Kiev River Fleet with branded oil products until the end of the year.

Deep-water manned bathyscaphe “Konsul” built at JSC “Admiralty Shipyards” was transferred to the Navy. The vehicle is capable to conduct researches at depths up to 6000 meters.
“Konsul” is the 70th in succession deep-water vehicle built at JSC “Admiralty Shipyards”. Its weight is 25 tons, speed – three knots, while the crew consists of two-three persons.
