The Stoiky corvette of type 20380 entered the main base of the Baltic Fleet, Baltiysk, after the passage from Kronstadt. The crew will take out the corvette to the sea ranges of the Baltic Fleet. There, the crew together with representatives of industry will start the second stage of sea acceptance trials and then state trials of the newest stealth ship. In sea ranges, the crew, the manufacturer's representatives and contractors will check the operation of all the ship's control systems, power plant, communication and navigation systems.
The Arctech Helsinki Shipyard, Finland, carried out the loading of the first block of the icebreaker of type 21900 M to the dry dock. Thus, the company, which is a subcontractor of the Vyborg Shipyard, started assembling the hull. Two icebreakers of type 21900 М are being built on a turn-key basis by the Vyborg Shipyard. The third vessel of the series is being built with the involvement of the subcontractor, the Arctech Helsinki Shipyard.

In January 2011, Krasnoyarsk Shipyard, a subsidiary of Yenisei River Shipping Company, by the order of Norilsk Nickel, started the construction of a self-propelled bunkering tanker on liquid fuel with deadweight of about 1200 tons, which will meet all modern requirements, including ecostandards. Most of the work has been already done. The specialists began the final stage of construction. The main part of the hull is ready. The dimensions are:
- Length: about 70 m
- Beam: 12.6 m
- Depth: 4.8 m
In addition to the tanks, there will be two holds inside, accommodating 200 barrels with fuels and lubricants.

On 28 October 2014, the Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard held a solemn keel-laying ceremony of the third passenger ship Astrakanets of type 23020A, serial No. 507. In all, three serial ships will carry passengers along urban and suburban lines of the Astrakhan Region. This summer, all the vessels will be put into service.

The Admiral Grigorovich patrol ship will be launched in February 2014. This is the first of five ships of type 11356 built by Yantar Shipyard, Kaliningrad, for the Russian Navy. The patrol ship is designed for combat operations in ocean and sea areas against enemy surface ships and submarines, meeting attacks of air weapons both independently and as part of escort ships. Afloat, they will continue further construction and preparation of the ship for harbour acceptance trials, i.e. checking the installation, operation of all the mechanisms and systems.

This November, the Russian Navy will get the Igor Belousov, new rescue vessel. The ship construction will be completed by the Admiralty Shipyard, St. Petersburg. At the moment, the construction is 84 per cent completed. They started forming its crew. The crew is planned to be completely formed and to come on board in March 2014.

By the last ten days of February 2014, the Admiralty Shipyard will have laid a keel of another diesel-electric submarine of type 636, the Krasnodar, for the Russian Navy. As per the plans of the Navy Chief Command, by 2016, they will have built six submarines of this type. These submarines will be included into the submarine forces of the Black Sea Fleet and will be stationed at the Novorossiysk naval base to complete the infrastructure construction.

At the construction site of the Zvezda shipbuilding facility, they started to prepare the equipment in the shops for installation. Machines are currently in sealed containers, which arrived from factories of the IMG manufacturing company in Germany and the Netherlands. The total number of equipment for six pans of onshore processing facility is about 160 containers. On the first working day, the specialists of the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Centre, and the construction prime contractor opened eleven containers that passed the incoming inspection for quantity and quality.

In Moscow, Vyacheslav Shport, governor of Khabaravosk Territory, participated in the meeting with the United Shipbuilding Corporation management. During the meeting, they discussed the prospects of the two companies, Khabarovsk and Amur Shipyards. The parties agreed to coordinate their efforts to increase the load of the region shipbuilding companies. So, it was decided to continue the work with the Russian Ministry of Defence on placing orders for construction of corvettes by Amur Shipyard and the Murena boats by the Khabarovsk Shipyard. During the meeting, they also proposed to specify a clear specialisation of these companies. It is planned to manufacture five or six basic types of vessels at the shipyards. 

A new development of Krylov State Research Centre will reduce the visibility of the Russian submarines of the fourth generation thrice. Within three years, they should create a new technology of active anti-sonar system that will greatly improve the camouflage of submarines against the enemy sonars. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will assign 200 million rubles for developing such an active anechoic plating based on webbing and composites.
