As Roman Trotsenko said, JSC “United Shipbuilding Corporation” is going to send 5 bln. rubles to modernize “Red Sormovo” Shipyard. “We believe that we shall run this program for four years”, said R. Within the framework of an ecological program “Rosmorport” is going to build 22 vessels by 2015. Construction of the series of advanced strategic nuclear-powered submarines of “Borey-A” type will begin in Russia in 2012. By now, three ships of “Borey” type (project 955) are at “Sevmash” in different degrees of completion. In total eight nuclear-powered submarines of “Borey” and “Borey-A” projects should be built at “Sevmash”. The project 955 “Borey” was designed by Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering “Rubin”.
