A “sideway moving” icebreaker of the Finnish project Р-70202 was laid down at Baltic shipyard “Yantar”. The vessel is able to move in the level ice, the thickness of which is one meter, and will be able to run a channel with the width of 50 meters in the “sideway moving” mode. The Customer is RosMorRechFlot.
“Severnaya Verf” and “The Federal Agency for Procurement of Weaponry, Military and Special Equipment, and Material” concluded a contract for building three combat logistics ships for the Ministry of Defence. The first ship is to be delivered to the Northern Fleet not later than 25 November, 2014. The contract is estimated as 11.715 billion rubles.

56-year old Alexander Buzakov is appointed as the Head of “Admiralty Shipyards”. Since 1980, he has worked at the enterprise, raised from a technologist to the Technical Director. He worked at other enterprises of the industry. In July 2011, he returned to Admiralty Shipyards as the Technical Director.

In the third reading, the State Duma passed the law on the establishment of the Federal State Institution “Administration of the Northern Sea Route”, which will authorize for navigation through the Northern Sea Route.

A specialized crossing point for yachts in the Fort Constantine in Kronstadt will be opened in St. Petersburg. Transport company JSC “The Third Park” (St. Petersburg) was the investor.

An auction for selling JSC “Baltic Shipyard” stock of shares on behalf of the Federal Agency for State Property Management took place in Moscow. The winner of the auction is JSC “Western Center of Shipbuilding” (a subsidiary of JSC “United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC)”).
