Lithuanian Shipyard Western Baltija Shipbuilding put into operation lead multipurpose dry cargo barge “Ptich”, deadweight of 6100 tons, DCB23 project. The barge was designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau to the class КE (*) R2 РС. The hull is reinforced in accordance with the requirements of the Registry of Shipping according to the ice category Ice2. Sea deadweight is 6100 t. Ballast draft – 3.25 m. Length – 99.98 m, freeboard depth– 8.00 m. Capacity of cargo tanks is 9800 cub. m. 
The Russian Government by decree dated 29.06.2012 No. 1118-r approved changes to the boundaries of waters at the sea port of Kavkaz associated with expansion of the docking area of Taman.

Ballistic missile submarine К-407 “Novomoskovsk” returned to the berth of JSC Shipbuilding Center “Zvezdochka” from builders’ sea trials. Troubles detected during the trials are being remedied.

The sixth tanker of the series of RST27 project named “V.F. Tanker-6” was launched at “Krasnoe Sormovo” Shipyard. Series of 10 tankers is planned to be built. The tanker is designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB, Odessa) according to the class of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping - KM Ice1 R2 AUT1-ICS OMBO VCS ECO-S Oil tanker (ESP). At draft 4.2 meters, sea deadweight is 6980 tons, length – 140.85 m, freeboard depth - 6 m. Capacity of cargo tanks – 7828 m3, service speed – 10.0 knots.
