Rosneft oil company has announced an open electronic request for proposal for the lease of two Suezmax-type tankers and one Aframax-type tanker under the time charter terms.
Maximum contract price for the Suezmax-type tankers lease is approximately 610 million rubles (for each). The Technical Assignment specifies that their deadweight shall be within the limits of 130 to 200 thousand tons. These vessels are intended to be used for transferring dark oil products (fuel oil, vacuum gas oil, heating oil, etc.). The tankers shall be handed over to the Customer within 30 days from the contracts conclusion date.
As regards Aframax type tanker, its deadweight shall be within the limits of 80 to 129.999 thousand tons. One of the requirements is the tanker convenience for accumulation of light oil products batches.
The results after considering the request for proposal will be known early May 2018.
