Rescuers have no evidence about any foreign citizens on board Vostok.
The crew of the fishing vessel missing in the Sea of Japan included only Russiancitizens, according to RIA Novosti with the reference to the Vladivostok maritime SAR coordination center representative.
It was earlier reported that the crew included Moldova and Azerbaijan citizens, as well as personnel from Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Orenburg regions, Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky krais. However, the Sakhalin media say that the crew included only the island residents.
Vostok sailed from Donghae (South Korea) to Kholmsk (Sakhalin region) after repair. The vessel carried twenty persons. Today, about 5 a.m. local time, the vessel's EPIRB was activated, then connection was lost.
