New treatment facilities for shower sinks are put into operation in the Murmansk Sea Trade Port (MSTP), reported on Thursday in the press service of the enterprise.
"Now the shower sinks forming on industrial site of port will pass several levels of cleaning, and then will be reused in the swing-fog machines of end-to-end system of dust suppression. Ecological effect - lowering of concentration of the weighed substances in water for 98%", - told in port.
There marked that in MSTP the closed loop of water-supply when several thousands of cubic meters of cleared water of almost drinking quality regularly go for reuse is created. If excesses of water get to Kola Bay, thay will not exert any impact as concentration of the weighed substances in shower sinks is brought to the standards corresponding to characteristics of fishery water objects of the highest category on its purity.
As they added in port, treatment facilities consist of the buried 2,5 thousand cubic meters tank, the elevated building where the technology equipment and also the tank of an inventory of a cleared sink is mounted. According to port, also improvement of the territory, adjacent to new treatment facilities, is executed: lawns are laid out, places for planting of trees and bushes are defined, pedestrian zones and technological drives are issued.
The port marked the modern technology of cleaning of sinks. The shower sink from the production site at first comes to primary settler where by means of special substance the particles weighed in water turn into the dense precipitate. At the following stages water undergoes cleaning on net and fast filters, and the precipitate is dehydrated on a special complex for a further utilization. Besides, before hit in the inventory tank already cleared water undergoes ultra-violet disinfecting.
Commissioning of treatment facilities is one of the most scale nature protection projects realized in the Murmansk sea trade port in 2017. In total within a Year of ecology of MSTP plans to hold 12 nature protection events with the volume of investment about 800 million rubles which will allow to reduce impact of the enterprise on the environment to the operating international standards.
