Fire damage in nuclear submarine “Ekaterinburg” exceeds 1 bln. RUR. A sonar system is destroyed and a coating of the external hull of the missile carrier is seriously damaged. Causes of the accident in “Ekaterinburg” were “serious violations of safety requirements during hot works on board to eliminate one of its faults”. As a result of the accident nine persons got hurt.

The Central Bank managed to obtain a judgement enforcement upon shares of Baltshipyard pledged for a loan of MezhPromBank. As a starting price of the controlling block the Court set only 213 mln. RUR. Also, the Federal Arbitration Court of the Northwest Region required to pay JSC “Baltic Shipyard” a loan debt in the amount of 45.65 mln. RUR in favor of Sberbank.

The Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region registered a claim from Sberbank for recognition of JSC “Baltic Shipyard” as a bankrupt. The date of the claim hearing has not been set yet.

The Khabarovsk Territory Arbitration Court initiated a supervision procedure at Amur Shipyard (shipyard). Amur Shipyard is going bankrupt due to a debt of 16.6 mln. RUR to JSC SPb DB Malachite. Currently an additional issue of shares of the Shipyard for 3.26 bln. RUR is being carried out.

Denis Manturov will release Viktor Khristenko from the duty of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, until a new government is formed. So far, Denis Manturov held a post of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Earlier it was reported that Viktor Khristenko will leave his post on the 1st of February, 2012 due to appointment as a Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
