Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod Shipyard has launched the Project A160 inshore diving boat ‘Vodolaz Gritsay’. The State customer for construction of the boat is the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency. The customer is the Directorship of the State Customer for Marine Transport Development Programs Federal State Institution.
The project was developed by Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod Shipyard in cooperation with Agat Design Bureau Ltd. in 2008.
The Russian Government has published a decree on the arrangement of an around-the-world cruise for the training sailing ship ‘Sedov’ in 2012-2013. The cruise is dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the Russian statehood. The document was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Gama Group of Companies intends to commence series production of the Project PKS-40 paddle-wheel motor vessels, Sura-class. The vessel’s payoff period is 10 years. The company’s production capacity enables construction of up to 10 vessels annually.
Thte project was developed by Evgeny Falmonov, an engineer from Nizhny Novgorod. The vessel can operate both on standard diesel fuel and bio fuel. Crew: 6; service personnel: 5. Draft: 75 centimeters. Length: 35.5 m; width: 9.8 m; displacement: 130 tons. Speed: max 14 km/hr.
