The Winter Cherry (Zimnyaya vishnya) shopping mall burned in Kemerovo on 25 March, at least 64 people died. Murmansk sea port employees did not step aside in the face of the tragedy.
Murmansk sea fish port employees responded the call of the dock worker teams 1 and 3 and on 26 March transferred their daily earning to the families of people who were injured or died in the fire in Kemerovo shopping mall named Winter Cherry. This was reported by the press-office of the port.
"The tragedy in Kemerovo Winter Cherry mall shocked people all over Russia. It's hard to find anyone who stayed indifferent. The dock worker teams 1 and 3 of the Murmansk sea fish port transferred their today's daily earning to the families of people who were injured or died in the Kemerovo tragedy. This initiative was supported by employees from other port departments. This is the least thing we can do.
People of Kemerovo, accept our deepest condolences... We wish the injured to get well soon. We wish the families of the people who died to be strong enough to get through this...," the message says.
