The Russian Federal Fishery Agency has summed up the results of the application campaign arranged due to the new fishery bill and concerning the investment rates. More than 60 applications have been received.

According to the Head of the Russian Federal Fishery Agency Ilia Shestakov, more than 60 applications for getting the investment quotas have been received.
"A great number of shipyards will appear in the Northern basin. A lot of new vessels will be commissioned here. A number of OEMs have already started the construction at the Russian shipyards. Projects will be implemented within the period from 3 to 5 years and some of them even earlier" the press-office of
the Russian Federal Fishery Agency quoted Mr. Shestakov.
A fairly large number of fish processing plants - about ten - are to be intended to build in the Far East. The applications for constructing seven large-capacity vessels with significant capabilities for catching and processing have already come.
