Press-office of the Murmansk Sea Fish Port told about situation with the berths and possible suspension of berth leasing, ship servicing and loading/unloading operations from 31 January 2018.
The statement says that the Federal Agency for State Property Management has prematurely terminated the trust management contract for property, which included the south and north fish berths, coal station berths and piers.
According to the port's press release, "Due to legal uncertainties with respect to further operation of the federal-owned facilities (berths), since 31 January 2018 the Murmansk Sea Fish Port will have no legal grounds to operate the berths, to moor any ships to the port berths, to provide any services to moored or not-moored ships that may involve the berths, and to collect corresponding payments for the use of the berthing line to the trust manager's bank account."
