The vessel has been extensively upgraded and modernized during 2004, 2012 and 2016 as follows:
- Vessel holds a ‘10 year age reduction statement’ from RINA.
- Vessel’s bows were redesigned/modified for the installation of 4 brand new MacGregor ramps in 2004.
Two ramps on each end; one giving direct access to upper garage and the other to main garage.
- All engines/generators were replaced with 6 new ones by IVECO & CUMMINS in 2004
- IVECO engines have been remanufactured during 2016
- CUMMINS engines have been replaced with brand new in 2016
- A new power management system was fitted by ABB in 2006 and same renewed and upgraded to latest
platform (AC 500) in 2016
- LV drives replaced with new and SACE breakers in MSWBD replaced with Emax2 in 2016
- The vessel was upgraded to meet the latest EUROSOLAS criteria (sprinkler, drencher, smoke detectors, fire
control system, door open/close indicators, A60 doors, etc) in 2004
- The vessel was upgraded to meet Category B, Stockholm Rules for 1.5 mts SWH (can be increased) in 2012
- Accommodation upgrades in 2012 include:
- 4 electric escalators were installed
- The saloon deck was extended
- New double bottom tanks were constructed
