told us about success of some residents of Vladivostok's Free port in 2017.
In the outgoing year, the Project on creation of multi-purpose complex in the north-western Sea of Japan in the Olga bay (Olga Bunker company) was continued to be implemented; the territory of the port was taken on a long-term lease and the following special equipment was procured: reach stackers, conbulker cranes, dockside clamp hook crane, the part of the base course of the storage territory was renovated.
Capacity of the bulk cargo transhipment and storage complex, including bulk and tank liquid cargoes amounts to 60% of maximum declared value. The in-port refrigerator (700 m 2 ) for transhiping and storing fish products is to be constructed.
The company representatives say that development of the port will allow the consignors to reduce time to 10 days if shipment is made from China to Europe via Russia.
Another port facility was commissioned in Primorye, Nahodka (Port Livadia LLC) in December. On this territory, the resident of the port started handling not only scraps but bulk cargoes as well. Linear-type facility of the non-public railway was built, concrete casting of the territory and strengthening of quay wall were finished. Operational capacity of marine terminal grew from 5,000 to 20,000 tonnes of cargoes per month. At the moment 137 billions of rubbles were invested.
