The governor of the Kaliningrad region said that thus the enterprise will accelerate implementation of orders for vessels production and repair.
As TASS reports with reference to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region following the meeting results of the governor Anton Alikhanov with the head of federal department Denis Manturov which has taken place on Tuesday in Moscow, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has supported the modernization project of Baltic shipbuilding plant "Yantar" (PSZ, a part of USC) in Kaliningrad.
"During the meeting federal department made decision to render assistance in providing financing to Baltic shipbuilding plant "Yantar" for implementation of projects on modernization of a number of productions and also reconstruction of fitting-out embankments with replacement of crane equipment", - it is said in the statement.
"Implementation of projects by the Yantar plant within the federal target program demands modernization. It will accelerate implementation of orders", - the press service cites words of Alikhanov. There is no information about the volumes of financial support on which can count the enterprise yet.
It is reported that during the meeting the offer of the region government to expand a share of producers of civil electronics in total of participants of state procurements for needs of state corporations and the companies with the state participatio is also considered. The Minister of Industry and Trade charged to set to the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev the official letter asking his support of this initiative.
