Baltic Shipyard representatives said that the shipyard will do their best to catch up the icebreaker delivery schedule.
The portside main turbine generator for the lead type 22220 icebreaker Arktika is delivered to the Baltic Shipyard (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation). Corresponding acceptance certificate was signed the day before. This was reported by
the press-office of the shipyard.
The turbine generator will be soon loaded on board and then the assembling will start. Baltic Shipyard specialists will do their best to catch up the schedule of the icebreaker delivery; the delay had occurred due to the late delivery of the turbine generator to the shipyard, according to the press release.
