It became know how fresh fish will be delivered to the future specialized market in Vladivostok.
Berths for the fishing vessels will be included in the fish market projected in the centre of Vladivostok on the Zolotoy Rog Bay shore, according to the press-office of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East with the reference to Sergei Slepchenko, Director General of AkvaTekhnologii, which initiated the project.
"There is no as big catch in close vicinity to the city as we would like it to be. That is why the market will be also supplied by medium trawlers, which will be able to approach directly to the building," said Sergei Slepchenko.
According to him, catch of fish and marine products from the north of Primorski Krai will be delivered to the market by catching vessels, transport vessels, and motor vehicles. The company has its own ice-making machines to preserve the catch being transported to the market. According to him, the availability of own catching and processing capacities will allow to make the new market prices lower comparing to the commercial shop chains.
It is supposed that the construction of 4-storeyed building for the fish market will start in 2018.
